The Texas Cornerstone has arrived!

THE TEXAS CORNERSTONE HAS ARRIVED!  It will take the El Camino Real de los Tejas journey this Friday!

In Oklahoma City, the Heartland Apostolic Prayer Network and the United States Reformation Prayer Network met in a national meeting of state leaders.  While there, Sarah Burton, coordinator of the Indiana Apostolic Prayer Network, made a presentation of a cornerstone.  It was created as a response to a prophetic word given to Indiana by Cindy Jacobs (see below) in May of 2010. On the stone is the name of Yeshua in Hebrew as well as the date of its presentation before the states in Oklahoma City (December 8, 2010).  The last line is the date of Texas' statehood in Hebrew and Roman time.
Jesus is 'the stone you masons threw out, which is now the cornerstone.' Salvation comes no other way; no other name has been or will be given to us by which we can be saved, only this one."  (Acts 4:11-12, The Message)

It will be carried with us as we journey the El Camino Real de los Tejas on January 28-February 2, 2011.  See: El Camino Real de los Tejas

We are going to establish Jesus as the true cornerstone of Texas!  If you would like to help with the cutting, inscribing and shipping of the stone to Texas, please send gifts to TXAPN, P.O. Box 3503 Arlington, Texas 76007 or go to eGiving at TXAPN.
Father, we decree right now that the anointing on this state of Indiana for miracles and healing to be the medicine to the nations.  The Lord is showing me that there are leaves for the healing of the nation in Indiana.  So Father, we decree that the foundation is going to be put on the right place.  I literally see somehow, I don't know how it will be be, but just pieces of stone, the rick of the limestone, being sent to fifty states eventually.  'The Lord says, "I am giving you the anointing to set a new cornerstone in America, for you a cornerstone state, and the Lord says that you will write My name upon the stone, and there will be new cornerstones set.  It will not be the cornerstone set by Baal, the altars of Baal, but there will be new altars built, says the Lord, and I give you the anointing to build altars," says God.'  (Dr. Cindy Jacobs - May 21, 2010)

His Name was Frank - A True Story

It was the summer of 1989.  Kay and I had been at Prince of Peace Church in Arlington for less than a year. It was an interesting first year.  Our third child, Amy, had been born in March. Even though we lived in a marvelous parsonage, our salary, at that time, was "ten percent" of the Sunday offerings.  With a small group attending the church, my weekly salary was anywhere between $25 to $50.  Many times extra food was provided by a woman in the church, who gathered "outdated" items from the local grocers.  We were never without.

It was a Saturday morning.  I received a phone call from a transient that was calling from downtown Arlington. My normal course of action was to refer such calls to the local mission organizations in town, BUT somehow this call seemed different.  The man on the phone, Frank Davis, was needing a place to stay for the night.  His dad, in Chicago, was going to wire money over the weekend. Knowing that we had a couch in the Fellowship Hall of the church, I decided to invite him in.  I was ready to head out to pick him up when my two older children, Josh and Katie, insisted on going with me.  I protested but conceded after several pleas on their part.  I told them to stay in the back seat of the van and not to talk to Frank when I picked him up.

Frank was basically non-descriptive.  Medium build.  Shorts. Tee Shirt.  Tennis shoes.  He hopped in the van and Josh and Katie immediately swarmed him.  When we arrived at home, Kay had prepared him a sandwich and offered to wash the clothes he was wearing.  He wore some of my clothes for the rest of the day.  He left the house for a short time to pick up some small personal items at a nearby convenience store. When he returned he wanted to call his dad in Chicago to make arrangements for wiring money.  He gave me the number for his dad, Grant Davis, and I dialed it.  His dad confirmed his story.  He was extremely grateful that we were helping his son.  He made arrangements to have the money delivered to the church the next morning during worship.

Kay and I weren't sure what we could feed him for supper since we would not be paid until the next day and our cupboard was pretty bare.  We did find a partial brisket in the freezer, a box of Kraft Macaroni and Cheese and a can of sweet peas.  Supper was served followed by a long visit at our kitchen table.  He was unusually interested in our style of worship.  He played trumpet and wondered if he could play for us sometime.  He had once played for David Yonchi Cho's church in South Korea.  That comment seemed out of place coming from a transient, but the oddest thing was the insatiable desire of my son Josh to be near Frank.  He hauled out all of his Lego blocks and spent the evening building skyscrapers and houses.

The twin army blanket at my parent's home.
The evening ended with me setting up Frank in the Fellowship Hall.  We gave him a pillow, sheet and favorite Army blanket.  I announced that I would be over about 7 AM to make coffee.  The next day, I greeted Frank and made the coffee.  He had neatly folded the sheet and blanket.  I headed toward through the Fellowship Hall toward my office.  I left the room for only a second when I turned back to get something I forgot in the church kitchen.  Frank was gone.  The outside door had not been opened but I went outside immediately - finding him nowhere in sight.  I did not see him again.  I also noticed that the army blanket was gone.

The money was never delivered.  We held worship, and Kay, the kids and I headed home - pondering the events of the last hours.  After lunch I decided to call his dad again.  I still had his name and number.  I dialed it several times only to get a recorded message that it was not a working number.  I called the operator to discover that it was not only a "non-working" number - it was not a number at all.  The area code was non-existent even though I had dialed it successfully the day before.

I looked again at the the name and number.  All of a sudden - the name written on the paper stood out.  It read Grant O. Davis.  Kay and I stared at each other.  A few months later, during an early morning prayer time, the Lord confirmed to me that He Himself had visited our family that summer day of 1989.  One could say that our ministry has never been the same.

Our experience reminded me of the Leo Tolstoy's Papa Panov that tells the same story.  The story ends with the following quote:
This was not a dream for he was wide awake. At first he seemed to see before his eyes the long stream of people who had come to him that day. He saw again the old road sweeper, the young mother and her baby and the beggars he had fed. As they passed, each whispered, "Didn't you see me, Papa Panov?"

"Who are you?" he called out, bewildered.

Then another voice answered him. It was the voice from his dream- the voice of Jesus.

"I was hungry and you fed me," he said. "I was naked and you clothed me. I was cold and you warmed me. I came to you today in everyone of those you helped and welcomed."

Then all was quiet and still. Only the sound of the big clock ticking. A great peace and happiness seemed to fill the room, overflowing Papa Panov's heart until he wanted to burst out singing and laughing and dancing with joy.

"So he did come after all!" was all that he said.
Yes, He did come and his name was Frank!

BLESSINGS

"And she gave birth to her firstborn son; and she wrapped Him in cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn. In the same region there were some shepherds staying out in the fields and keeping watch over their flock by night. And an angel of the Lord suddenly stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them; and they were terribly frightened. But the angel said to them,

'Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people; for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. This will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.'

And suddenly there appeared with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying,

'Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace among men with whom He is pleased'" (Luke 2:7-14).

BLESSING TO ALL OF YOU!  MAY THE PRESENCE OF OUR LORD JESUS FILL YOU AND OVERWHELM YOU WITH GOD'S LOVE, PEACE AND HEALING!

The Drought - Consider Your Ways

Then the word of the LORD came by Haggai the prophet, saying, "Is it time for you yourselves to dwell in your paneled houses while this house lies desolate?" Now therefore, thus says the LORD of hosts, "Consider your ways! You have sown much, but harvest little; you eat, but there is not enough to be satisfied; you drink, but there is not enough to become drunk; you put on clothing, but no one is warm enough; and he who earns, earns wages to put into a purse with holes." Thus says the LORD of hosts, "Consider your ways! Go up to the mountains, bring wood and rebuild the temple, that I may be pleased with it and be glorified," says the LORD. "You look for much, but behold, it comes to little; when you bring it home, I blow it away Why?" declares the LORD of hosts, "Because of My house which lies desolate, while each of you runs to his own house. Therefore, because of you the sky has withheld its dew and the earth has withheld its produce. I called for a drought on the land, on the mountains, on the grain, on the new wine, on the oil, on what the ground produces, on men, on cattle, and on all the labor of your hands." Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of the LORD their God and the words of Haggai the prophet, as the LORD their God had sent him And the people showed reverence for the LORD.  (Haggai 1:3-12)
It's on us again!  It is very obvious that we have a return of drought conditions in the State of Texas. You can study the conditions at http://drought.unl.edu/DM/DM_state.htm?TX,S It is settling in through all of South Central United States.
"But Lord, have we not done everything You required of us? Have we not faithfully divorced and dismantled Baal structures throughout the State and region?  Have we not continually sought to hear Your voice and obediently carry out Your instructions?"
I believe we have, but the Lord is speaking a clear word to us this season through Haggai.  Let me paraphrase the passage above: "I need you to think clearly regarding your plans and motivations.  I need you to clear away some junk from your hearts.  You are thinking only of yourselves and how you are doing - whether good or bad.  In the meantime, My Presence and Glory have not been fully invited into your life, into your city or into your state or region. Go to the high places in your own life as well as in your city and region.  Build My place of habitation there! Until you do I will need to withhold even the rain. It is time that I, the Lord, am shown proper reverence."

We need to pray for rain.  We need to continue to battle the forces of iniquitous structures that have been established in our state.  That war, as it was for Israel of old, will never end.  BUT most importantly the Lord is requiring us to build His temple - to establish His presence.  We love tearing things down - but in each of those places the throne of God must be thoroughly established.

Last night I was able to clearly see the blood red moon.  It is an especially important time for the forces of evil to be at work.  It is the winter solstice.  BUT lest we forget, a similar "red moon" was present on the day of our Lord's crucifixion and was a testimony of the power of His redemption.  He marked His ascent to the throne! A great presentation can be viewed of this at http://www.bethlehemstar.net/day/day.htm#dirge
'THE SUN WILL BE TURNED INTO DARKNESS AND THE MOON INTO BLOOD, BEFORE THE GREAT AND GLORIOUS DAY OF THE LORD SHALL COME. 'AND IT SHALL BE THAT EVERYONE WHO CALLS ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED.' (Acts 2:20-21)

Let us, especially as we enter into this season of remembering the Lord's birth, pursue Him fully.  Let us obediently establish His presence wherever we go.  Let us repent of "seeking our own houses" and seek after the establishment of His.  I intend to obey Him.  I know that He will return rain to us as we seek His face and bring Him proper reverence!

CONSIDER YOUR WAYS!

Now Time

This morning Lonnie Lavender was in my office.  Lonnie is an executive council member for the Texas Apostolic Prayer Network, and heads up, with his wife Annette, War Cry Ministries.  He shared this word which I immediaitely exhorted him to write out so I could share it with you.
We are in the, Now Time, of crossing over.  We are coming to the end of the year 2010.  In years past, when we entered into the new year we would pray for the first couple weeks to see what God was saying for the year ahead and where we were going. But this year God says, the time is now.  It is time to cross over and be ready to go on January 1st.

Just as in the book of Joshua, we need to pray and cross over before midnight December 31st this year. We need to be on the other side and ready to go.  One of the first things Joshua did when they crossed over the Jordan was to be circumcised as instructed by God.   Today when we hear that word we might think one thing, but God is saying another. We need to cut off the 2010 season, and all the stuff we picked up, and hear God.  He is asking “what is the Jericho, that is blocking our path this season?”
On January 1st, I believe we will hear the word of the Lord, about what is our Jericho - corporately and individually.  He will also show us what it will take to remove our Jericho and move forward in this new season. We must hear the word of the Lord because we haven’t been this way before. This is a time when like never before we must hear the words of Moses in Exodus 33:15 “If Your presence does not go with Us, do not bring us up from here.

This season we must hear the voice of the Lord, and move out as He leads.
Lonnie Lavender
It is time to enter into the land.  It is time to lay hold of the promise!  It is time occupy for the Kingdom of God.

Christmas 2010

Dear Family and Friends,

We keep thinking that things cannot get busier. Maybe next year! You can keep up with most of our journeys and activities by going to my blog: http://tomschlueter.blogspot.com.  Blogging!  We have moved into a new era of communication.  With our ministry in the Dallas-Fort Worth area as well as all of Texas and the nation on the increase, we are now Face booking, blogging, tweeting, etc. As a matter of fact, most you will receive this letter via one of those methods.
The Schlueter Clan

It has been a marvelous year.  With ministry and leisure we have travelled most of Texas.  As a matter of fact we have literally been to or through over 400 Texas towns and cities this year.  We made another trip to New York State (Fort Drum in Watertown) to welcome our second grandson Nate in January. We’ve been to Washington DC, Oklahoma, Kansas, Louisiana, California, Arizona, New Mexico, Mexico, Mississippi, Alabama and Israel for ministry.

Tom is still pastoring Prince of Peace Church in Arlington as well as overseeing the Texas Apostolic Prayer Network. Kay is a successful Pampered Chef consultant.  You can go to www.pamperedchef.biz/kayschlueter to view her job.  She will continue to watch TJ during the week but that job will increase with little Anna.  And how about those Texas Rangers!

Nate
Josh, Andrea and Nate.  Josh will be in Afghanistan until mid-March.  When he returns, they will head back to Watertown, New York before he starts Captain training at Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri.  We await his next assignment (hopefully closer to home) when that training is finished. We saw Josh during his R&R in November. Andrea will finish her Masters Degree in Education in March.  Nate was born in January and he is absolutely wonderful. Please keep them in prayer as they go through major transitions.

TJ
Katie, Tim, TJ and Anna.  The family grew again in 2010.  Anna was born in November just days before all of our family and Tim’s family showed up for Thanksgiving. Tim and Katie are still employed at the same aerospace company here in the Arlington area.  Katie will return to work on January 4 – following her maternity leave. They both are a tremendous help in the ministry at Prince of Peace Church.

Anna
Amy.  Amy is in the middle of her senior year at Texas A&M University.  She is working towards her education degree. She will be a Fifth Year Senior because she has intentionally taken fewer hours to maintain a good work schedule as well as her ministry with a specific prayer team in Houston.  She will be in Guatemala with friends over Christmas break and next fall comes her classroom training.

As always, we are looking forward to next year and the exciting things the Lord has in store for us.  We ask His blessings and favor to fall on each of you.  May you have a joyous Christmas season and a Happy New Year!

Love and Blessing!

Tom and Kay Schlueter

Report to Texas

Report to Texas
December 2010

The year 2010 was a significant year of praying, connecting and transforming throughout the State of Texas.  Below is a summary of the initiatives that were carried out.  Please take the time to read what the Lord has done and what is planned for 2011.  I also invite you (exhort you) to seriously consider planting seed into the Lord’s work.  He has given us a War Chest (see closing paragraphs of this report) so that Texas can take up the call as a Prophet State.  You can donate a one time year-end gift or commit to monthly support.  You can go to www.txapn.org to make your donations or send them directly to TXAPN, P.O. Box 3503, Arlington, Texas 76007.

January

Hill Country

On January 8 we gathered a team of 32 from across the state at in attendance at Marble Falls.  We travelled throughout the region of Marble Falls, Johnson City and Llano to deal with injustice, the spirit of death, and the shedding of innocent blood. TXAPN Council Member Cody Haynes of Johnson City hosted us.

Border Trip

On January 23-30 Council Member Ken Bryan and I joined leaders from Mexico, California, Arizona and New Mexico on a 2000-mile prayer journey along the US-Mexico border. I have commented to many people since our return of how blessed I was to be a part of this historic covenant making team.  We had nine people forever bound together in purpose and friendship.  Our hearts were singular in focus as we dealt with the issues that faced us at every point along the journey.  We were and are sealing in the Spirit the treaty that was made between these two great nations.

The Lord, prior to the trip, had made it explicitly clear to me that there were two distinct declarations that needed to be made along the border. The first was from Isaiah 28:14-22.  It speaks of the undoing of the covenant with death and pact with hell – replacing it with Jesus the cornerstone – life, healing, hope and kingdom authority.  The second declaration was based on Ezekiel 11, which reverses the curse of the city (border) being the pot and the people the flesh.  God is tearing down the corruption at the gates and no less than 25 evil leaders from both nations will be discovered, brought down or destroyed by the time of Passover 2010.  At least a dozen were already dismantled during our trip.

The land was so beautiful and diverse. From the shores of the Pacific and Gulf to the crops of the Texas valley to the rugged mountains and desert regions, the land was awesome.  It speaks not only of the diversity of the land but of the people who live there.  I cannot stress enough the God appointed major storm system moving down the border days before our journey – cleansing the land.

March

Israel Covenant Journey

“I was glad when they said to me,
‘Let us go into the house of the LORD.’
Our feet have been standing
Within your gates, O Jerusalem!”
Psalm 122:1-2

On February 26-March 8, fifty-one persons from Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi travelled to Israel. It was time to secure one of the most important covenant relationships we have as a state. Every Friday in 2009 as we “Connected the Glory” throughout the state we proclaimed the following: “We declare we are rooted in covenant with God’s heart for the Jews and we recognize Israel’s role in the earth; a role of blessing.” In order to strengthen the Lord’s covenant promises with us – we need to intentionally bless His covenant people – Israel. And it was for the specific purpose of sealing Texas’ covenant with the nation and people of Israel.

Washington DC Prayer Initiative (HAPN)

On March 14-17 we joined the other 49 states of the nation in Washington DC to assault iniquitous roots within our nation.  We divorced Baal and declared the Writ of Assistance.  Information on the divorce and writ can be downloaded at www.hapn.us.  Each state had a minimum of 5 representatives in attendance.

April

Palo Duro Canyon

On April 23-24 we gathered to release healing, reconciliation and a new covenant of friendship between Texas and Native America – a new covenant based, not on political promises, but on the word of God to bring forth His kingdom.   John Benefiel shared the need for reconciliation and how it has brought healing to Oklahoma.  He talked of broken covenants, the national apology and Billy Graham’s words that the nation would not see revival until the Native Nations moved in it.  Jay Swallow, through humor and personal testimony began to dismantle feelings of fear, worry, distrust and awkwardness.  Many tears flowed as the Lord moved in our midst.  Ken Bryan, through the offering, called us of us to a new place of commitment, covenant and warfare. On Saturday, several prophetic acts were carried out to demonstrate our new covenant relationship:

•    A staff representing apostolic authority in the State if Texas was passed to Mark Wauahdooah from Tom Schlueter
•    Ken Bryan, acting on behalf of the US Army Corps of Engineers (Colonel Ranald S. Mackenzie was of the Corps of Engineers) apologized to the Comanche Nation.
•    Tom Schlueter gathered the Comanche Nation leaders (Michael Burgess, Robert Tippiconnie and Darrell Kosechequetah) before the members of the TXAPN Council and read a formal apology. The three Comanche leaders responded by receiving the apology and thanking us for honoring them in such a sacred place.
•    We shared gifts with the leadership of the Comanches as well as the attending representatives of the Kiowa, Cheyenne, Arapaho and Apache. The gifts were based on our desire to establish new covenants, not based on political states buy the kingdom of God.  The gifts included a Pendleton Robe for Chairman Michael Burgess, swords for each of the tribes as well as John Benefiel, engraved Bibles for the tribes and individual gifts for every Native American in attendance.

June

Formation of Executive Council

Based on the following word given to me by Barbara Wentroble on April 11 in Oklahoma City, we formed a TXAPN Executive Council:

Tom, every time I look over at you I see a new fire God is lighting on the inside of you. And the Lord said, “Son, you’re going to be known as a man of fire in the days ahead. And where those things have come to try to put out the fire, and limit the fire, God said, I’m turning it up now.”  And the Lord said, “Son, there’s going to even be a new strategy that I’m going to give you.  For there has been a frustration because the thing you thought would work and seemed to work a little bit but it never did reach the place that you knew God intended for it.” Now God said, “Watch me in this new season as I begin to bring along firebrands that are going to connect to you.”  For the Lord said, “It’s not going to be left up to you to light all of the fire.”  He’s going to put some firebrands with you that are going to join their fire with your fire. God says, “Watch that state begin to blaze anew in this new season.  Alleluia.

July

Standing in the Gap

On June 30-July 1 I joined the other four Gulf Coast States at the “Standing in the Gap” gathering in Montgomery, Alabama to deal with the spiritual ramifications of the  Gulf Coast Spill.

Root 52

On July 23-29 we took our place as the 28th state of the nation in the initiative led by Cindy Jacobs and the United States Reformation Prayer Network called “Root 52.” We had prayer gatherings that week at Granbury, Waskom, Victoria, Canyon, El Paso, Austin, and Arlington.  The initiative’s purpose was to establish our spiritual roots as a state in Christ and His kingdom.

August, September, November

Taking a Prophetic Lead

As our Executive Council and full Council met in July and August, the Lord declared that we would be intentionally taking a role as a prophet gift to the nation.  He was going to send us out to the states to release words into the nation.  During these three months the Lord intentionally sent council members to:

California (Ken and Ginny Bryan)
New York City (Lonnie and Annette Lavender)
Oklahoma (Merrie Cardin, Tom Schlueter, Ken and Ginny Bryan) - Trail of Healing
Georgia (Hollis and Carol Jean Kirkpatrick)
Hawaii (Alice and John Paterson, Hollis Kirkpatrick, Laurraine Huffman)

Set in Order

On August 20, we began our "Set in Order" gathering for the Texas Apostolic Prayer Network at Prince of Peace Church in Arlington.  The word of the Lord for the day is "muster."  He is sounding the alarm.  He is mustering the troops. The dictionary defines muster as: (1) to assemble (troops, a ship's crew, etc.), as for battle, display, inspection, orders, or discharge, (2) to gather, summon, rouse, (3) to assemble for inspection, service, etc., as troops or forces or (4) to come together; collect; assemble; gather.

There was a distinct prophetic call to us from the Lord to gather.  He is "marshaling the troops." A friend approached me before the service and declared that the Lord is marshaling us.  Marshal means: (1) to arrange in proper order; set out in an orderly manner; arrange clearly (2) to array, as for battle or (3) to usher or lead ceremoniously.

He is setting everyone and everything in order. He is calling us to "pay the price" for His kingdom. With a raised sword, I reminded the full house of worshipers from across the state (we also had Oklahoma, Louisiana and Colorado represented) that the Lord was calling each of us into a new assignment.  In the spring of the year I stood under this tree near Gonzales, Texas and called the saints of God to muster together.  The Houston tree is where Sam Houston mustered the newly formed army of Texas after the fall of the Alamo. We serve the kingdom of God.  We are mustered for His work.  The kingdom of darkness will crumble and fall as we move together as the Lord's army.  Rise up saints of God.

October

Independence Trail – The Release of Glory

The Lord instructed us to retrace the steps of the 1835-36 Texas War for Independence.  We are to go to the sites of specific events on the 175th anniversary of those events.  The first event of the revolution took place in Gonzales on October 2, 1835.  A small cannon was fired as opposing forces came to retrieve it.

We are also to begin the release of God's glory into the State of Texas.

Chuck Pierce spoke the following words over Kay and I at “The Releasing of the Fire of His Glory” meeting at New Life Church in Houston on Sunday, September 26:

"Now there’s one more thing I want you to see.  The symbol of this year means we will become one with His Glory and the Glory will begin to move and we will move with His Glory.

Now, Tom, I think the Lord brought you and Kay here.  You and Kay stand up.  Let’s welcome one of our key leaders in the prayer movement in this state.  Tom and Kay Schlueter.  I think the Lord brought you two here so you know that as the Ark moves you need to find the path the Ark is on in Texas.  Go back to what we saw prophetically a year or so ago when I showed it here.  I never showed it again.  Never mentioned it again actually.  This was the place God asked me to show what the State looked like from Heaven.  Follow that because there will be a move of God’s glory this year.

"

After the meeting I spoke to him about our assignment this Saturday in Gonzales as we retrace the “War of Independence” trail.  He said to me, “Start it there.  Don’t pull anything down but release His glory.”

HAPN Assignment

We joined the other fifty states in visiting every Masonic Lodge in the State of Texas.  Our three-fold purpose was to divorce Baal and his iniquitous structures, proclaim the Writ of Assistance in order to receive those treasures lost to the enemy and to bless and pray for our brothers and sisters in Freemasonry.

2011

Upcoming Assignments

1.    An Army of 10,000 Intercessors – A word was given by Chuck Pierce at an April 2010 meeting in Oklahoma City that each state was to have 10,000 recorded intercessors by April of 2011 as a part of the triumphant reserve of each state.  WE ARE WELL ON OUR WAY.

2.    Monthly State Visits – Now that we are personally (at Prince of Peace Church) doing a First Friday service – I am freed up at least two Sundays a month to travel the state.  I can also make midweek trips.  I will be intentionally planning to visit one or two areas of Texas each month.

3.    El Camino Real de los Tejas – Our next major assignment will be retracing this significant trail from Natchitoches, Louisiana to the Texas-Mexico border. The Lord has and is downloading significant information regarding this trip.  He has opened up the following dates for the journey: January 28 through February 2, 2011.  The trip was first conceived as the Lord made a Macedonian Call to me to send resources and reinforcements to John and Jan Peel in Roma, Texas.  I can remember the Lord prophetically declaring through me, when Chuck Pierce commissioned me in June 2007, that one of the primary reasons for TXAPN was to stand with each other as a united intercessory state network.  When someone in El Paso was in need – we must go, as a State, to his or her aid.  If someone needs us in Jasper – we must go.  If someone in Houston, Lamesa, Granbury, Marble Falls, Waskom or anywhere needs us – we must go.  Roma NEEDS us. (By the way, this clarion is now extended to our Nation)  But the strategy has gone beyond the first call.  The Lord is instructing us to dismantle major iniquitous roots and routes that were established in our land.

  1. Kneel in Repentance.  We will stop at key areas along the trail.

  2. Establish His throne through Worship.  We will stop for evening sessions of worship.

  3. Give in order to support the work at Roma.  We will carry the TXAPN War Chest.
We want pastors, leaders, intercessors and church members of the entire State of Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Mexico to join us in force along the trail.  A core team will make the entire trip.  Let me know if you are led to be on that core team.

Here are the scheduled stops at this point:
  1. Friday, January 28 – Natchitoches, Louisiana

  2. Saturday, January 29 – Nacogdoches, Texas

  3. Sunday, January 30 – Bryan, Texas

  4. Monday, January 31 – San Marcos, Texas

  5. Tuesday, February 1 – Laredo, Texas

  6. Wednesday, February 2 – Roma, Texas

4.    Independence Trail – We have visited Gonzales and San Felipe.  Through this assignment, the Lord is releasing our call to take the lead for the nation. The Lord has instructed me that we still have the following sites to visit:
  1. March 2 – Washington on the Brazos – Independence as residents of God’s Kingdom

  2. March 6 – Alamo – Drawing the Line

  3. March 14 – Gonzales (Houston Oak) – Calling the Army
  4. March 27 – Goliad - Sacrifice

  5. April 21 – San Jacinto – Victory – Outside Worship
  6. May 14 – Velasco – Treaty of Peace
5.    Regional Meeting – The first South Central Region meeting of HAPN/USRPN will be held February 4-5, 2011 at Prince of Peace Church in Arlington, Texas.  Bill Suddeth will be our main presenter.  This is AN EXTREMELY SIGNIFICANT AND SENSTIVE meeting that will fall on the heels of our El Camino Real Journey.  It is the day before the Super Bowl in Arlington, but the Lord clearly arranged the day.  We must take out a significant in Texas and Arlington on that weekend.  We will also be calling a time of Forty Days of Prayer prior to this meeting to cover it as well as El Comino Real. Wow!  I know this is a lot.  We need to discern the part that each of us will play in each assignment.  Not everyone can be everywhere – BUT everyone must connect in. Welcome to the War.

War Chest

The Texas Apostolic Prayer Network (TXAPN) has shifted, have you?  For over a year now prophecies have come forth that the Lord was shifting Texas into a destiny of leading the nation during the upcoming seasons.  The Lord is establishing us as a fulcrum point or anchor for a "teetering nation."

This shift will entail extensive travel, ministry, strategic assignments and fellowship with other states and nations as we jointly serve to advance the Kingdom. Three times over the last month we sent teams to the West Coast, New York City and Georgia. This translates into the need for resources above and beyond anything experienced by TXAPN since its inception.

Think God’s not in this?  Think again. Ken Bryan and I just returned from a trip to our neighbor state Louisiana that involved all facets of who we are in this new season.  We stayed in a hotel that was formally a bank.  When we arrived at our room there was a “war chest” waiting on us, strategically gifted out of obedience to the Lord by our good friends Roger and Charlotte Merschbrock.  BUT this wasn’t just any war chest; this one is one of three sown by the late Diane Buker (Battle Axe Ministries) to Louisiana, Mississippi and Florida before her untimely death. The Lord instructed Louisiana to sow their chest to Texas to contain the resources necessary to lead the nation.

Roger Merschbrock has picked up a phrase he repeats at most prophetic gatherings.  Roger says, "Even a dog could prophecy when he’s in this group."  I’ll expand on Roger’s phrase.  "Even a dog could interpret this one."  God has given Texas a “war chest” to contain the resources that are going to flow into TXAPN this season allowing us to take our place in this next move of God and lead as He wills. Just to remind us of the need for resources we spent the night in a bank.

When we gathered for the Palo Duro Canyon reconciliation meeting I asked Ken Bryan to take up the offering.  Ken ended his exhortation of this new season with the phrase, “Are you in or you out”.  That simple statement has become a prophecy to what God intends for Texas this season.  We are called out and assigned by the Most High God, Ruler of the Universe to serve Him in ways much greater than any of us could have imagined just three years ago when I was handed the reins of TXAPN.  As much as I would like to delay or avoid the need to communicate this type message to all within earshot, I can’t.  I have a very large empty “war chest” staring at me from across the room waiting to fulfill its divine purpose.  It’s time for each of us to reevaluate how we are called to support TXAPN right now, in other words “its time to be in, not out."

You can send a gift or monthly support to:

or go to the eGiving link on the front page of www.txapn.org.  We serve the kingdom of God.  We are mustered for His work.  The kingdom of darkness will crumble and fall as we move together as the Lord's army.  Rise up saints of God.

El Camino Real de los Tejas

The Trail near Alto, Texas
Our next major assignment for the Texas Apostolic Prayer Network will be retracing the El Camino Real de los Tejas. This significant trail goes from Natchitoches, Louisiana to the Texas-Mexico border. El Camino Real has its easternmost beginning in Natchitoches, Louisiana and in Texas runs southwesterly from the piney woods through rolling hills and ranch lands to the arid lands of South Texas and into Mexico.

The Spaniards and the French that marked the trail were followed by such men as Moses Austin and his son Stephen Fuller Austin (The Father of Texas), Jim Bowie, Davy Crockett, Sam Houston, and early missionaries of multiple faiths. An abundance of historic cities await the modern day traveler on the Texas stretch of El Camino Real, which ties together some of Texas's oldest towns including San Antonio, Bastrop, Crockett, Alto, Nacogdoches, and San Augustine.

But the strategy has gone beyond the first call.  The Lord is instructing us to dismantle major iniquitous roots and routes that were established in our land and to call forth the destiny of our state that was established by the Lord.  There are three things the Lord has asked us to do on this trip:
  • Kneel in Repentance.  We will stop at key areas along the trail.
  • Establish His throne through Worship.  We will stop for evening sessions of worship.
  • Give in order to support the work at Roma.  We will carry the TXAPN War Chest to fill up for Bethel Mission.
Mission San Francisco de los Tejas
We want members of the TXAPN Council, pastors, leaders, intercessors and church members of the entire State of Texas as well as Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Mexico to join us in force along the trail.  A core team will make the entire trip. Let me know if you are led to be on that core team.

Here are the scheduled stops at this point:

  • Friday, January 28 – Natchitoches, Louisiana
  • Saturday, January 29 – Nacogdoches, Texas
  • Sunday, January 30 – Bryan, Texas
  • Monday, January 31 – San Marcos, Texas
  • Tuesday, February 1 – Laredo, Texas
  • Wednesday, February 2 – Roma, Texas
We will get more information to you regarding worship sites, hotels, etc.  Make plans now to join us on the core team or somewhere along the trail.  It's time for Texas!  It's time to enter our destiny in the Lord!

Releasing Your Destiny

It's time for our second FIRST FRUITS FRIDAY. The Lord began to speak to the elders of Prince of Peace Church about three months ago that we were going to have our “time reset.”  There were many confirming messages that it was going to be a switch from Sunday morning to Friday night.

The Lord would not release a specific strategy.  We kept praying and waiting.  One of our elders, Joe Stark, and I received vivid dreams the same night regarding the need for Prince of Peace (and the church at large) to shed off any remaining “religious” garments and to move ahead at His voice and command. We are shifting to Friday nights – BUT JUST THE FIRST FRIDAY NIGHT OF EACH MONTH.  The rest of the month will be our regular schedule.

The First Friday, the Lord said, was a time to release a Harvest Mantle on and through Prince of Peace. We met November 5.  Pastor Ramiro Peña spoke.

WE ASK YOU TO JOIN US THIS FRIDAY (December 3) as we RELEASE YOUR DESTINY! Worship starts at 7 PM at Prince of Peace Church (1701 Martin Luther Drive in Arlington).

Merrie Cardin of The Brazos Strategic Network will be bringing the message.  The network is an alliance of leaders, intercessors and five-fold giftings from the arenas of prayer, business, government, education and other places that influence our culture.  We have a vision to see Jesus' Kingdom shine in the earth and believe that we are called to unlock His kingdom on the earth.  We gather for the purpose of prayer, prophetic declaration and to move strategically to bring reformation to the culture.  We take seriously that we stand accountable before God for our boundaries and what is taking place in our region.  It is our mission to see revival come and our region transformed for Christ.

The Network is aligned and covered by International Breakthrough Ministries and Apostle Barbara Wentroble.  We work with the Texas Apostolic Prayer Network (Merrie is on the Executive Council of TXAPN) and joyfully align ourselves with Glory of Zion Ministries led by Apostle Chuck Pierce.

The Network is led by Rev. Merrie Cardin.  Merrie was commissioned as an apostle through International Breakthrough Ministries in 2007.  She has a prophetic anointing on her life and ministers to bring revival to the church in this nation and other nations.
