THE WITNESS OF LIFE

"I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. So choose life in order that you may live, you and your descendants, by loving the Lord your God, by obeying His voice, and by holding fast to Him; for this is your life and the length of your days, that you may live in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them” (Deuteronomy 30:19-20).
The principle is a simple one.

God rendered a verdict (see previous post) of life over Texas. The ecclesia (church) and government of Texas agreed with the verdict and decreed (voted) life! Heaven and earth are witnesses of life and death - blessing and curse.  We chose LIFE so heaven and earth gave witness (manifested) to life.  How?
  • Within hours after the Texas Legislature voted a strange weather system moved into Texas.  A low pressure system moved into the state from the east and northeast and brought an abundance of rain to a drought stricken state.  Along with the rain came unseasonably cool temperatures (30-40 degrees lower than normal).  The rains continue.  Life is being released!
  • The Texas Legislature passed a bill that greatly restricts abortion but also tremendously protects the life and health of both unborn baby and the mother. Forty years ago Dallas, Texas was the "birthing" ground of Roe v Wade and a spirit of death was released into Texas and the nation.  That decree of death is overruled by God's decree of life. Interestingly, yesterday, a man born in Dallas 40 years ago, Miguel Angel Trevino Morales, was captured near Nuevo Laredo.  He was a notorious leader of the Zeta Cartel.
Trevino Morales, known as "Z-40," is uniformly described as one of the two most powerful cartel heads in Mexico, the leader of a corps of special forces defectors who went to work for drug traffickers, splintered off into their own cartel in 2010 and metastasized across Mexico, expanding from drug dealing into extortion, kidnapping and human trafficking. Along the way, the Zetas authored some of the worst atrocities of Mexico's drug war, leaving hundreds of bodies beheaded on roadsides or hanging from bridges, earning a reputation as perhaps the most terrifying of the country's numerous ruthless cartels. • And, in November, we will remember the assassination of President John F. Kennedy fifty years ago.  Remember, the spirit of life in God is now released.  National Geographic has already announced programs which will highlight the event - but not the death of the President
    - but the life and hope the President was bringing to Texas in those 24-48 hours before his death.  Dealey Plaza, the site of the tragedy has been totally refurbished and is the visible sign of new life in downtown Dallas.
Dealey Plaza is finally beginning to look like it was built to look, thanks to Segura. She led the effort to raise $1.5 million to restore the plaza. Dead grass, crumbling pergolas, and inoperable lights have all been repaired or replaced. Read more: http://www.wfaa.com/jfk/then-and-now/Dealey-Plaza-then-and-now-199453801.html

GOD RENDERED HIS VERDICT - DECREE LIFE

Over two weeks ago, the Texas Senate was experiencing a filibuster.  All of Texas was watching and praying.  As I personally watched the events unfold online, I was praying for the Lord to intervene and allow the Senate to pass the bill which would protect the life of the unborn after twenty weeks . It would also protect women from substandard clinics.

It didn't look good as the deadline of midnight drew closer.  Around 11:15, the Lord spoke a word into my heart: "Tom, close your computer, I have rendered my verdict."  I obeyed.  I closed down the computer and went into a deep night's sleep.

I awoke to discover that the bill had not passed due to a "mob spirit" in the chambers.  The deadline had passed even though the vote was taken.  BUT the Lord kept declaring: "I have rendered my verdict."

A Second Special Session was called.  The bill (House Bill 2) went through the process again. Tensions rose at the capital.  As I personally stood in the capital on Monday, I could feel the presence of God even in the midst of the protests.  And finally last night.  Here is a Facebook post by Representative Phil King:
I stand amazed - how can anyone honestly believe that at five months this is not a baby? Last night, after weeks of unruly protest and debate, the Legislature finally passed a strong Pro-Life measure, HB 2. The bill will 1) prohibit abortions in Texas after five months of pregnancy; 2) require that a doctor personally administer abortion-inducing drugs to patients; 3) require abortions be performed in ambulatory surgical centers, which have more stringent health and safety requirements than do current abortion clinics; and 4) require that doctors performing abortions in Texas have credentials for a hospital within 30 miles of where they are performing abortions. Thousands came to the Capitol in mob like protest. Last night 18 canisters of urine and feces were confiscated by police as protestors tried to enter the Senate Gallery. Two chained themselves to the Gallery rail. Others had to be forcibly removed by police. By my count there were over 50 DPS (Department of Public Safety) troopers in the Senate chamber alone.
But God rendered His verdict.  Life was decreed by God and by the Texas Legislature!  One of the most courageous voices was Senator Lucio of Brownsville.  He is a Democrat who stood for life.  As he spoke the following verse came to mind:
"For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a bond-servant of Christ" (Galatians 1:10).
In the end - God rendered His verdict!  Life for Texas.  The bill will be signed by Governor Perry.

STOP THE TRAFFIC - DAY 40

Today we come to the official end of our Forty Day Initiative - STOP THE TRAFFIC!  But we do not stop praying and declaring until we witness this giant of human trafficking fall.

There is no better day to declare our freedom than today - Independence Day.  As we declared "Freedom" yesterday" (see yesterday's blog), so today we declare the following verdict from the Courtroom of Heaven:

THE HIGHEST COURT

OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD

THE PEOPLE OF GOD,

Plaintiffs,

vs.

THE PRINCIPALITY OF BAAL (Including Baal, Queen of Heaven, Leviathan)

Defendant,

We come before our Judge, our Lawgiver and our King (Isaiah 33:22) and His court of heaven “by the blood of Jesus” and we “draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water (Hebrews 10:19-21).

We come before the Lord who abides forever.  He has established His throne for judgment, and He will judge the world in righteousness. He will execute judgment for the peoples with equity. The Lord also will be a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble (Psalm 9:7-9).

We come before the Court of Heaven seeking enforcement of its prior decisions in favor of The People of God, the Plaintiffs.  We are petitioning the Lord to open the scrolls pertaining to the destiny our nation, the states of our nation and in particular the State of Texas (Daniel 7:9-10).

We remind the Court that:
  1. The People of God have sought and obtained from the Court a Decree of Divorce wherein the Plaintiff was found to be entitled to have sole right, claim, and interest, in and to all gifts, possessions and inheritance from Plaintiffs’ Father and Defendant was forever banned from the title, control or use of such gifts, possessions or inheritance.  (Psalm24:1) (Psalm 115:16).
  2. In those previous judgments, the Defendant was also banned and placed under a restraining order from causing our offspring to be still born, aborted, kidnapped, trafficked or being destroyed by the Defendant or so infected by sickness attributed to the Defendant’s condition that no life remained in them.
  3. The People of God have committed, and do continue to affirm their commitment, to avoid any contact or participation with the Principality of Baal and its vast extensions, and to be trustworthy in the use of the gifts, possessions and inheritance to which they are entitled.
  4. The People of God are entitled to the blessings of Abraham, (Galatians 3:13-14) and are entrusted with those blessings to be a blessing in the earth (Genesis 12:2-3).  This Court holds that the People of God have been set free and therefore they are free indeed and that we have a destiny, a future and a hope that is secure in our Father that will not be cut off (John 8:35-37; Proverbs 23:17-18; Jeremiah 29:11; 31:16-18). Our Father has formed the People of God and our days have all been written and ordained for us when as yet there was not one of them (Psalm 139:13-16). He has declared life and not death over us.  And in the presence of His court we choose life (Deuteronomy 30:19-20).

We petition the court:

  1. To judge the Defendant and his earthly agents for their acts (or their support thereof) of slavery, human trafficking, prostitution, and the shedding of innocent blood through abortion (Matthew 18:5-7; Jeremiah 32:34-36).
  2. To uproot and destroy the pompous words and actions of the Defendant and consume the root of this iniquity with holy fire (Daniel 7:11-12).
  3. To release the hosts of heaven to act in conjunction with the People of God to set the captives free, to bind up their wounds and to mend their broken hearts (Isaiah 61:1).
  4. To secure the Plaintiffs once again in their covenant relationship with the Father, affirming that we are once and for all divorced from the systems of Baal and are wedded to the Son of our Father – our beloved Groom and Lord Jesus Christ (Hosea 2:16-20) and to grant us (His saints) everlasting dominion as ambassadors, kings and priests of the Father’s kingdom on earth (Daniel 7:37).

THE JUDGEMENT

WHEREFORE, this Court being fully advised in the evidence does find for the Plaintiff and against the Defendant in all matters material to the Plaintiff’s Petition, and does by this decree grant the petitions and all requests set forth above.

That being the Order of this Court, from and after this date, so shall it be.

THE SUPREME JUDGE

STOP THE TRAFFIC - DAY 39

Last night, representatives of the fifty states (Heartland Apostolic Prayer Network) were on a conference call as a "Declaration of Freedom" was read.  The Declaration dealt directly with the issues of Human Trafficking and Abortion.  You can read and declare it below.  Remember to read it in the context of two decrees that have been declared by all the fifty states regarding our "Divorce from Baal" and the "Writ of Assistance." Both of those documents can be downloaded and read at http://www.hapn.us/divorcingbaal.

DECLARATION OF FREEDOM

We declare that our God is the God of Life, and has specifically instructed us to choose life.  We declare that God is the giver of life and He Himself has breathed into us the breath of life.

We declare that God sent His Son into this world empowered to set the captive free and to set at liberty those who are oppressed (Luke 4:18-19).  He has declared those words are fulfilled.  We render Judgment on the earth this day that this is the Word of the Lord and it stands as the Judgment of God upon all who would resist.  He is pure and His Judgment is pure, and must be obeyed in Heaven and on the earth. (Daniel 7:9-11)

We declare that God takes pleasure in His people and He places on us His victory as we praise Him and are faithful to His word.  He has placed that victory in our hands, so we bind the earthly forces and execute His judgment faithfully. (Psalm 149)  We announce great peace on those who love His Word (Psalm 119:165), freedom on those who have been bound, and prosperity shall follow them (Is 54: 13-14).  We declare God is with you and no one shall shame you or confuse you (Is. 54:14-17), you are free.

We affirm the God ordained rights of every child to live free of enslavement of predators to use them and their bodies, for the purposes that do not honor God’s gift and call on their lives.  We abhor human trafficking, gangs, incest, pornography, and the theft of their youth.  We call over them the promise of God to write His Will upon there hearts that they may know Him and His eternal love for them  (Jer. 31:33)  From the smallest to the greatest, we affirm God’s forgiving grace and His everlasting love (Jer. 31:34)

We judge the mountains of the earth over government and education and declare you shall protect the innocent and bring down the abuser.  We announce freedom from the deception of darkness that one can gain anything from the bondage of another human being and declare even the abuser can be set free of that deception and enter into God’s amazing grace.

This is our Decree and our Judgment: Where the Spirit of The Lord is, there is Freedom (2 Cor. 3:17). We call and dispatch the Spirit of the Lord into every place where any child for any reason is held in bondage or abuse.

Lord, enforce your will in the earth in the faithful decree of your Church.

TEXAS AGREES WITH A RESOUNDING AMEN!

STOP THE TRAFFIC - DAY 38

We are declaring freedom for the captives.  We are decreeing justice to be rendered from the Judge of all the earth against all the perpetrators.

When the Lord first released this initiative into our hearts, we knew that it would go from one holiday (Memorial Day) to the next (Independence Day).  We were informed that even though human trafficking flourishes everyday, it peaks during large events (Super Bowl, etc) and holidays.  We determined that July 4th was significant as we look to see "Freedom" come to the captives.

Abraham Lincoln wrote: "If slavery is not wrong, nothing is wrong."

We are petitioning the court of heaven to render a verdict of life and freedom regarding this giant. Tonight, state prayer leaders with the Heartland Apostolic Prayer Network will present such a petition before the Lord.  Keep us in your prayers as we go before the Lord and ask for His verdict.  Let the books be opened!
I kept looking until thrones were set up, and the Ancient of Days took His seat; His vesture was like white snow and the hair of His head like pure wool.  His throne was ablaze with flames,  its wheels  were a burning fire. A river of fire was flowing and coming out from before Him; thousands upon thousands were attending Him, and myriads upon myriads were standing before Him; the court sat, and the books were opened (Daniel 7:9-10).

STOP THE TRAFFIC - DAY 37

Once again, as we continue to address the issue of the giant called human trafficking, we come face to face with an opportunity to proclaim and declare life.  The Texas Legislature will once again be deliberating and acting on Senate Bill 2 (formerly SB5) regarding abortion.

You are encouraged to go to Austin and be a grace-filled and power demonstration of God's righteousness and life.  Stand together for LIFE!

Below is a series of prayer suggestions from Texas National Day of Prayer.  It is preluded by a suggestion from Bob Long of Austin.
My one piece of input is that we include and simply, actually, and directly state our specific appeal to heaven for PASSAGE of righteous laws that protect women and the unborn in THIS Session since that is the primary reason for it being called and the primary reason thousands of Christians are praying across Texas and the nation.

Thank you , God bless you all !

TEXAS CAPITOL PRAYER INITIATIVE  - July, 2013
As citizens of the great state of Texas, we humbly ask that you pray for our Governor, Senate and House of Representatives leadership and all those who will participate in the government during this Legislative 2013 2nd Session.   Prayer call begins at 6:30 a.m. Monday on the Capitol grounds with circles of prayer. It is imperative that we begin with prayers for:

Preparation.  We prepare to encounter God by confessing our sin. The precious blood of Jesus cleanses and prepares us to truly relate to God. Thank God for forgiving your sins, for making you His child. Allow the Holy Spirit to lead you in prayer, the Holy Spirit will guide you into all truth (John 16:13, Ephesians 6:18).

Protection.  Jesus came that we might have LIFE ! This promise is for every man, woman & child, each created in His image. We are His greatest handiwork. Pray for the needy, fatherless & those in authority over us—that we might be an instrument of His grace and mercy to a hurting world (Psalm 91, 1Timothy 2:18).

Provision. Jesus is our provision. He made the way of reconciliation between man & God. We approach God in Jesus’ name because of His righteousness, not our own. If we are faithful to seek him, turn from our wicked ways; then, He will hear our prayers and heal our land (John 14:6, 2 Chronicles 7:14).

Praise. Thank God in advance for answered prayer. Thanking God increases faith by fixing our attention on Him, not the problem. We bring everything to God in prayer & praise, made to be anxious about nothing (Psalm 100, Philippians 4:6,7).

Peace. We do everything possible to live at peace. The conflict of LIFE is a spiritual battle resulting in physical death. Our battle is with the forces of darkness that oppose the will of God. Pray for His Way, His Truth & His Life to reign in every life (Matthew 5:9, John 14:27).

Passion. It is the passion of Christ that redeems and restores Life. He gave His life, that we might have life eternal. God keeps His promises to us. He is looking for people who will stand in the gap for concerns beyond our personal needs. We pray we expecting God to grant results in prayer (1 Peter 3:12, Ezekiel 22:30).

AS YOU PRAY II Chronicles 7:14 and 1 John 1:9:
 Seek God
 Trust Jesus
 Address Jesus
 Name Needs
 Demonstrate Jesus
