Yesterday, Kelly Wilson had a tremendous word of exhortation and encouragement for the body. It was based on Joshua 3 and the people of Israel crossing the Jordan into their promised possession.
Then Joshua rose early in the morning; and they set out from Acacia Grove and came to the Jordan, he and all the children of Israel, and lodged there before they crossed over. 2 So it was, after three days, that the officers went through the camp; 3 and they commanded the people, saying, “When you see the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God, and the priests, the Levites, bearing it, then you shall set out from your place and go after it. 4 Yet there shall be a space between you and it, about two thousand cubits by measure. Do not come near it, that you may know the way by which you must go, for you have not passed this way before.” (Joshua 3:1-4)I'm not going to reproach it but simply highlight a couple of points:
First, the priests – not Joshua – were commanded to take up the Ark and to step into the Jordan. The priests – that's you! The text does not even mention where Joshua was. The revelation we received was that he brought up the end to insure that all had crossed. You priests of the Lord – step into your promise.
Second, they had not been this way before! This was a new place – a new anointing! It was going to be extremely important that they keep their eyes on the Ark – the throne of the Most High God. Follow Him. It is a season of blessing – health, wealth and miracles. We heard testimonies of three significant healings the Lord had done in our midst. He is moving and He is calling us into a new place of ministry. Take up the Ark – let's go!
