Dear Saints
On this twenty-sixth day of blessing, I awaken in Guatemala. Paul writes:
"Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children; and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma." Ephesians 5:1, 2
We are imitators of God. Are we? It seems that we make a good case as imitators of the others and the world. As redeemed saints of God we are to "live, move and have our being" in Him. So much of the body of Christ has "corrected itself" to look like and act like the world around us. We are called to be holy as the Lord is holy.
As the Lord releases His blessings over us these seventy days, determine in your heart to be imitators of Him. Then - walk in love towards others. Be the aroma of Christ Jesus in the world. Think about it. We should be a detectable aroma in a world that usually smells alike!
