Personal Repentance
Pornography use in the Church is shockingly high. 50% of pastors(4) and about 70% of men in the Church(5) are viewing it regularly. In order to stop sex trafficking, we must first repent for our consumption of pornography, which ultimately fuels trafficking.Father, I ask forgiveness if I have consumed pornography. Forgive me if I have not possessed a spirit of self-control and purity. Change my heart and renew my mind now to Yours in this matter.
Corporate Repentance
Father God, we stand in the gap for our nation and repent on behalf of those involved in pornography use. Forgive us for allowing such perversion to be rampant within our borders, which leads to the degradation of human beings who are bought and sold for sexual slavery. Hear our cry, and heal our land!Intercession
- Lord, I ask that You would bring down the idolization and obsession with pornography in the US and Mexico.
- Cleanse the heart of my land by exposing those who are producing pornography using trafficked victims.
- I pray that You would convict those in the Body of Christ who are using pornography, and that You would set them free so they can live in righteousness and purity.
