STOP THE TRAFFIC - DAY 6

OATH - End Trafficking in Oklahoma

OATH is a commitment to a promise that one makes after understanding what human trafficking is and who it affects; A vow to self, to others and to the world that I will not rest until this injustice is made right; A pledge to do whatever it takes to end modern slavery in all of its evil forms; A passionate dream that every man, woman and child will live free to pursue their God-given purpose in life; A dedication to one’s commitment that will not easily be distracted by self-serving comfort or surrendered to opposition. OATH is what it takes to see justice for all.
Check it out here!

STOP THE TRAFFIC - DAY 4

A STORY FROM SAN ANTONIO

For decades, a two-story convent sheltered nuns ministering in the city's impoverished neighborhoods.

By month's end, the old building will open up to women working to be free of sex trafficking.
Its six bedrooms have brand-new linens, comforters and pillows. Each has a personal sink and space for cribs. The floors have new carpet.

The convent-turned-safe-house is the handiwork of All Things New, a Christian ministry based in Oklahoma City and founded by Linda Caswell in 2008. She's relocating headquarters here and joining a countywide effort to combat the sex trade.

“It's been a lot of work but I've seen so much of the community of San Antonio pull together to make this happen,” said Caswell, 59, herself prostituted years ago. “It is a realization of a dream.”

STOP THE TRAFFIC - DAY 3

A ministry friend wrote: "I live in Houston, which has the most used port in the nation for trafficking. In fact, Houston has more sex clubs/illicit clubs than Las Vegas! The Lord placed a burden on my heart about two years ago for this travesty. Every other Tuesday, I lead a small group of college kids in prophetic intercession specifically for human trafficking. I love that God is opening the eyes of His people!

There are two well known ministries here in Houston. I know there are many more, but these are the two I know well. Elijah Rising, once known as Exodus Cry, is a ministry I am connected to. They are a prayer/awareness/rescue group. Also, Redeemed is a large ministry that does the same. Both ministries provide shelter and mentoring for rescued girls as well."

Today we focus on Free our City.

STOP THE TRAFFIC - DAY 1

Today we start our 40 day prayer initiative regarding human trafficking.  My blog will be used daily to bring attention to ministries, prayer points or testimonies regarding human trafficking.
Today, let me draw your attention to Traffick911
Traffick911is driven to stop the sale of children into sexual slavery for the profit and pleasure of their perpetrators. Their mission is to stop the buying and selling of American children.
They are working to open a safe house in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex to meet the unique needs of children who have been trafficked. The shelter will include a holistic program to meet the spiritual, physical, psychological, educational and social needs of these traumatized children.

Two children are sold into slavery every two minutes somewhere in the world. In the United states, 1 out of 3 children who are kicked out or run away from home to escape the horror of sexual molestation or other abuse are forced into sexual slavery within 48 hours.

Seventy Days of Blessing - Day Seventy

Dear Saints,
"A fire shall always be burning on the altar; it shall never go out" (Leviticus 6:13).
Convergence.  It has begun!  Seventy days of blessing.  The fullness of blessing! The fullness of God's purpose.

Over 40 years ago, Beth Alves, a pioneer of the modern prayer movement, was gathered with other intercessors in the old sanctuary of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Arlington.  They were praying for a prayer movement to be birthed in the church in which they were praying.  They asked the Lord to bring a Spirit-filled Lutheran pastor to the church that had a passion for prayer.  Her husband Floyd and her left the church a short season later with a "left foot" and began their ministry which is now called Increase International. Thirty years after their group prayed, Beth and I met and stood in the same church and witnessed the birth of that prayer ministry.

Beth called me a few days ago to check in and spoke blessings on the next great wave and anointing that was about to come upon us. She was unaware of the convergence (covenant relationship) that was taking place with The Prayer Room in Arlington (24/7 prayer) and Prince of Peace. Last night that relationship started and was sealed with salt.  The opening worship of this new season (the time known only to the Lord) opened this door of fresh anointing.

The fire of intercession and worship is burning.  It will not go out.  It will burn with commitment and passion.  It will fan the flame of a new anointing of prayer that it is being released in our church, city, state and nation!  Miracles, wealth and health are released.  Jesus is King!

Seventy Days of Blessing - Day Sixty-Nine

Dear Saints

Yesterday during prayers in the office, we were overwhelmed (in a good way) by the tremendous goodness of the Lord. We seem to be in that moment of time when everything is flowing together.  It is that point when two streams or rivers come together to form a greater river.  The word that came to mind was "convergence."

As I woke up the is morning, that word was still on my heart.  How is it defined?

Convergence (noun):
  1. an act or instance of converging.
  2. a convergent state or quality.
  3. the degree or point at which lines, objects, etc., converge.
  4. Ophthalmology – a coordinated turning of the eyes to bear upon a near point.
I especially like definition number four.
So when the Lord saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, “Moses, Moses!” And he said, “Here I am.” (Exodus 3:4)
Convergence (or unity) comes when our eyes and hearts are all focused (bear} upon the same thing.  As we covenantally join together with The Prayer Room tonight at 7, as we enter a new season of worship and ministry, and as we come to the ending of our Seventy Days of Blessing and begin an initiative with Human Trafficking – our singular focus must remain on Jesus and Him alone.  Let us turn aside to look upon Him!

Stop the Traffic - Starts Sunday

The following is copied from "Prayer for Freedom." I thank them for their faithful prayers regarding trafficking!

Prayer Points

“I expose slavery in this country because to expose it is to kill it. Slavery is one of those monsters of darkness to whom the light of truth is death”
Frederick Douglass

“I the Lord have called you to demonstrate my righteousness. I will guard and support you, for I have given you to my people as the personal confirmation of my covenant with them. You shall also be a light to guide the nations unto me. You will open the eyes of the blind, and release those who sit in prison darkness and despair”
Isaiah 42:6-7

  2. Law enforcement will have the training needed to identify victims & wisdom to handle each situation
  3. Government will implement and enforce policy surrounding Human Trafficking
  4. There will be after-care housing for all victims of Human Trafficking. Trained to help the needs of trafficked victims
  5. The victims will receive all areas of healing that they need. Physically, Spiritually and Mentally
  6. The victims will find a personal relationship with Christ and complete healing
  7. The victims will have the ability and opportunity to get work, housing and training for a new life
  8. The justice system will help facilitate the prevention of  the demand for slavery
  9. That people that are facilitating the sex industry will find a relationship to Christ and stop
  10. That the traffickers (organized crime and individuals) will be brought to justice
  11. Potential traffickers and victims will find a relationship to Christ (high risk youth)

Seventy Days of Blessing - Day Sixty-Eight

Dear Prince of Peace Saints

Yesterday noon during city prayers with other pastors, we were singing Exalt The Lord.
Exalt the Lord our God (ECHO)
And worship at His feet (ECHO)
For He is holy
For the Lord our God - He is holy
For the Lord our God - He is holy
For the Lord our God - He is holy
Yes the Lord our God - He is holy
The Spirit of the Lord was moving in the room and I received the following prophetic word.
"Have I not declared it and therefore is it not so, that Prince of Peace is a key. I hold this key in My hands and in this very hour I am using it to open up the doors of the courts in order that my decrees and plans can and will be released in earth. Do not take this lightly for I have asked others to do this but they did not hear me, or they refused my offer. You have not, and therefore know, that this day, I am turning you (the key) in my hand and the door is opening."
On this 68th day of blessing – say "yes" to the Lord!

Seventy Days of Blessing - Day Sixty-Seven

Dear Saints,

"When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place.  And suddenly there came from heaven a noise like a violent rushing wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting" (Acts 2:1-2).

On this sixty-seventh day I am sharing a word given by Dutch Sheets on Pentecost Sunday at Glory of Zion in Corinth, Texas. It is a word/revelation/teaching that is KEY for now. Listen to it and embrace the truth of the teaching, the prophetic revelation and the impartation.

Go to about 1:15 into the service. Dutch references a dream from Julie Meyers regarding the prayer movement. There is a flow of strategic NOW prophetic release and impartation into the prayer movement. This is a MUST see/hear. NOW word to our stream!

Seventy Days of Blessing - Day Sixty-Six

Dear Stewards of God

Last night during the "Lifting Up Eagles" class we discussed our responsibility as stewards of God's kingdom.  In the lesson, I wrote:

The true understanding of stewardship does not begin with "how" we are to use what God has given us, but that God has created and owns all things. There is absolutely nothing that has been made that was not made by His hands. And there is absolutely nothing that falls outside the bounds of His ownership.

The sad commentary of our generation regarding the issues of abortion, drugs, environment, welfare, sexual abuse, stress, etc. is summarized in the statement: "It's my body (life, time, money) and I'll do anything I want with it." You can not tell people how to be stewards of that which they think they own. But God is the owner of all things and He has graciously entrusted the stewardship of all things to us.
"The earth is the Lord's,and all it contains, the world, and those who dwell in it. For He has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the rivers" (Psalm 24:1-2).
Step into your responsibility as stewards. He is pouring wealth, health and miracles into our lives!

Seventy Days of Blessing - Day Sixty-Five

Dear Praying Saints,

Once again we have witnessed a horrific storm that caused great loss and damage.  Our prayers go out to Moore, Oklahoma.  I personally am thankful for the Lord's revelation.  I was supposed to drive north to Oklahoma City on Sunday afternoon for a Monday meeting.  I normally leave that meeting about 2 in the afternoon in order to get home before rush hour traffic.  Just prior to leaving on Sunday, the Lord strongly impressed on me that I was not to go.  I was not sure why since the Sunday storms were moving away from Oklahoma City.  I did not realize until yesterday afternoon that I would have been going through Oklahoma City and Moore at the time of the tornado.  Thank you, Lord.

My prayers are now for all of those who have suffered great loss.  I weep for those parents who have lost children.  I pray for the church and responders in Oklahoma and the surrounding states as they help those in need.  I know that our Lord reigns and He will bring forth His life and strength into their lives.
God is our refuge and strength,
A very present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change
And though the mountains slip into the heart of the sea;
Though its waters roar  and  foam,
Though the mountains quake at its swelling pride. Selah.
There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God,
The holy dwelling places of the Most High.
God is in the midst of her, she will not be moved;
God will help her when morning dawns.
The nations made an uproar, the kingdoms tottered;
He raised His voice, the earth melted.
The Lord of hosts is with us;  The God of Jacob is our stronghold. Selah.
Come, behold the works of the Lord,
Who has wrought desolations in the earth. He makes wars to cease to the end of the earth;
He breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two;
He burns the chariots with fire.
"Cease  striving  and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth."
 The Lord  of hosts is with us;
The God of Jacob is our stronghold. Selah.

STOP THE TRAFFIC

“I expose slavery in this country because to expose it is to kill it. Slavery is one of those monsters of darkness to whom the light of truth is death” (Frederick Douglass)

State-wide STOP THE TRAFFIC 40-day Prayer Initiative
May 26, 2013 through July 4, 2013

The Lord is bringing the issue of human trafficking to the forefront and it’s time for the Body of Christ to appeal to the court of heaven for the state of Texas. You can access daily reminders as well as additional resources on this blog and on the Texas Apostolic Prayer Network Facebook.

You can join intercessors on Tuesday, June 11th in the Global Spheres Center’s Prayer Tower at 6:00 PM as the GSC Human Trafficking Prayer Group will meet to rally the troops in seeking the Lord to see the captives set free. Go to the Regions page of the TXAPN website to contact a TXAPN Regional Coordinator regarding information about the daily Conference Call Prayers at 8 AM.

Here is the basic guideline we will follow: There is no conversation or reporting on the call.  WE PRAY.  Please be considerate by keeping your prayers FOCUSED, PRECISE AND BRIEF so that others have opportunity.  We have been amazed at what the Lord releases in just 15 minutes a day of concerted prayer.

Seventy Days of Blessing - Day Sixty-Four

Dear Saints,

Let me remind you of what was declared yesterday during worship. Your destiny is written in a book.
"Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; and in Your book were all written the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there was not one of them" (Psalm 139:16).
During worship the Lord revealed to me a picture of Jesus Himself transcribing in the scrolls of heaven the destiny, promises, dreams and purpose of each of your lives.  Ask the Lord to reveal His thoughts to you and not for you only, but for your family, your work, your city and your nation.

Through prayer, decrees and prophetic declaration release God's promises over yourself and all those around you!

Seventy Days of Blessing - Day Sixty-Three

Sweet Smelling Saints

Yesterday at our Strategic Training Center, Mike Massa brought a powerful teaching on dwelling in the fullness and essence of Christ Jesus.  As we continue to receive and release the blessings of health, wealth and miracles, we do so because the fragrance of the Lord rests upon us.
"But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place.  For we are a fragrance of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing;  to the one an aroma from death to death, to the other an aroma from life to life. And who is adequate for these things?  For we are not like many,  peddling the word of God, but as from sincerity, but as from God, we speak in Christ in the sight of God" (2 Corinthians 2:14-17).
How do you smell today?  Is your life permeated with the fragrance of Christ?

Seventy Days of Blessing - Day Sixty-Two

Happy Birthday!

Oh Happy Birthday to you. Oh Happy Birthday to you.
May each day of the year, may you feel Jesus near.
Oh Happy Birthday to you. Oh Happy Birthday to you.
Be the best year you've ever had!

And the Lord declared: "As you finish your sixtieth year you will finish the full cycle of sixty years.  It is the end of your samekh (Hebrew letter for 60) season.  When you turn sixty-one you will break forth into the new.  The full blessing of the Lord will be released to and through you!

Happy Birthday Prince of Peace! Step into your promise! Embrace the word!

Seventy Days of Blessing - Day Sixty-One

Dear Holy Ones of God

Yesterday our dear friend Merrie Cardin of Brazos Covenant Ministries in Granbury, Texas (Hood County) wrote this:
Could I exhort those of us in Hood county (and elsewhere) to put on a fresh fire beginning now?
F - friendly focus on others everywhere
I - inquire how they are after the storm
R - respect, listen well, and risk by asking if you can pray for them
E - encourage them with your testimony and your promise to continue praying

He does work all together for our good!
In other words – we are not just recipients of blessing (health, wealth and miracles), but more importantly we impart it to others!

Seventy Days of Blessing - Day Sixty

Dear Saints
"Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change and though the mountains slip into the heart of the sea; though its waters roar  and  foam, though the mountains quake at its swelling pride. Selah. There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy dwelling places of the Most High" (Psalm 46:2-4).
Today we pray over all the areas in North Texas that were affected by the tornadoes and thunderstorms that moved through last night.  We especially pray for Granbury where six lives were lost and many were injured.  We pray for Merrie and Eddie Cardin of Brazos Covenant Ministries who are safe but were near the impact area of the storm.

Release over them health, wealth and miracles in the midst of destruction.  Renew them.  Restore them.  Rebuild their fallen homes.

Seventy Days of Blessing - Day Fifty-Nine

Dear Sons and Daughters of the Most High God

It's Pentecost! Come Holy Spirit!  Fill us again today with power, peace, passion and purpose!
"When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place.  And suddenly there came from heaven a noise like a violent rushing wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.  And there appeared to them tongues as of fire distributing themselves, and they rested on each one of them.  And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit was giving them utterance" (Acts 2:1-4).

Seventy Days of Blessing - Day Fifty-Eight

Dear Saints
"You are witnesses of these things. And behold, I am sending forth the promise of My Father upon you; but you are to stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high" (Luke 24:48-49).

"…but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth" (Acts 1:8).
One more day! Did they know that it was just one more day? According to Luke 24:27, Jesus informed the disciples in Emmaus the whole story.
"Then beginning with Moses and with all the prophets, He explained to them the things concerning Himself in all the Scriptures" (Luke 27:27).
But did they expect the Spirit – the Promise – the Power on Pentecost?  After all this was a time when all of the men of Israel were to gather in Jerusalem (just like at Passover) to remember the power and promises made at Mt. Sinai. If so, there was just one more day of waiting. If not, they were to continue to wait.  Either way, they were not to proceed until they were empowered from on high.  That is our word for today.  Tomorrow is Pentecost, but today we wait, for we do not proceed until we have been empowered from on high.

BUT WAIT!  PENTECOST HAPPENED!  You are empowered!

Seventy Days of Blessing - Day Fifty-Seven

Dear Friends,

Do you comprehend what a great inheritance we have in Jesus Christ?  It is filled with abundant mercy.  It is incorruptible. It will never fade in its purpose and provision. Even in the midst of trials, tests and moments of suffering – the Lord will form, mold and polish us into beautiful gems.

And in this season, He is richly pouring out more.  Receive His miracles, health and wealth and rejoice with joy inexpressible.
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, receiving the end of your faith—the salvation of your souls" (1 Peter 1:3-9).

Seventy Days of Blessing - Day Fifty-Six

Dear Loved Ones in Jesus

Miracles, health and wealth are coming, but our greatest blessing is the cherished love of a mother.  Happy Mother's Day to all of you!  May the richness of His mercy and grace fall upon you this day.  Happy Mothers Day Mom!
"Strength and dignity are her clothing,  And she smiles at the future. She opens her mouth in wisdom,  And the teaching of kindness is on her tongue. She looks well to the ways of her household,  And does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children rise up and bless her;  Her husband  also,  and he praises her,  saying: "Many daughters have done nobly,  But you excel them all." Charm is deceitful and beauty is vain,  But  a woman who fears the Lord , she shall be praised" (Proverbs 31:25-30)

Seventy Days of Blessing - Day Fifty-Five

Dear Priests of the Living God,

Who were these people? A couple of weeks ago Kelly Wilson brought us a message on crossing the Jordan and how we are those priests (people) carrying the Ark of God's presence into the promised destiny.  Yesterday the Lord revealed to me a fuller understanding of who these people were.  These were the ones out of the wilderness.  Yes, they were kept from going into their promise for forty years because of the rebellion of their forefathers, BUT they didn't just wander around aimlessly waiting for their time to come.

The word I received from the Lord was this: "I trained up a people in the wilderness that fully trusted in Me and my provision for them. They moved at My direction as I Myself led them. I provided them EVERY need from sandals to clothes to food and water. I trained them to know Me and obey Me."

When these people came out of the wilderness they were an obedient and trusting army ready to bring forth God's kingdom.  Oh, they still had their imperfections and their moments of disobedience, but they were ready to enter into their promise.
"So it was, when all the kings of the Amorites who were on the west side of the Jordan, and all the kings of the Canaanites who were by the sea, heard that the Lord had dried up the waters of the Jordan from before the children of Israel until we had crossed over, that their heart melted; and there was no spirit in them any longer because of the children of Israel."Joshua 5:1 NKJV
We are those people.  That is God's design for us! He desires for us to hear only His voice and know only His provision.  He is training our hands for war.  Yes, we are carriers of His presence, life, grace and forgiveness, but we are also an army prepared to bring down every scheme of the enemy.  The enemy will look upon us and "there will be no spirit in them any longer" because of the redeemed children of God in Christ Jesus.

Seventy Days of Blessing - Day Fifty-Four

Dear Loved Ones in Jesus

Yes indeed!  You heard it – according to all that He promised.  Let's say it again.  The Lord gives rest and brings forth ALL of His promises.  There is absolutely not one word He has sent that will fail. Today, as we receive His blessings of miracles, health and wealth – let us rehearse His promises.  Let us examine the words that He has spoken to us.  He will give us rest.  He will fulfill them.
“Blessed be the Lord, who has given rest to His people Israel, according to all that He promised. There has not failed one word of all His good promise, which He promised through His servant Moses."1 Kings 8:56 NKJV

Seventy Days of Blessing - Day Fifty-Three

Dear Co-Laborers

And that is the key word – co-laborers.  Paul declares that we are to "be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another…" (Romans 12:10). We are to give preference to one another.  This calls us to give favor or preferential treatment to others over ourselves.  When we do, we actually come into unity with each other.  We depend on each other's gifts and anointing.  We realize that we don't "have it all."  And observe what comes from unity:
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is
For brothers to dwell together in unity!
It is like the precious oil upon the head,
Coming down upon the beard,
Even Aaron's beard,
Coming down upon the edge of his robes.
It is like the dew of Hermon
Coming down upon the mountains of Zion;
For there the Lord commanded the blessing-life forever. (Psalm 133)

Seventy Days of Blessing - Day Fifty-Two

Dear Friends,

I remember years ago when the movie, The Passion came out.  It so powerfully and graphically portrayed the suffering that our Lord endured for us.  I went to one of the first showings because my daughter wanted to see it and I told her that I would view it first for her.  Well, the next showing started and she watched it.  But I was with her.  Yes, I watched it twice.

During the first showing I was tearing up and cringing as I watch the scene of Jesus being scourged. But during the second showing, knowing what was coming, I experienced this tremendous joy surging through me.  It was "just" a movie but the truth of the sacrifice and suffering set into me.  I am healed.  You are healed.  The Lord is our healer!
"But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed."Isaiah 53:5 NKJV

Seventy Days of Blessing - Day Fifty-One

Dear Saints

What a gorgeous day!  That's all I need to say today!  God has created a marvelous day and I decide to rejoice in it!  Let His health, wealth and miracles be released in your life today!
"Lift up your eyes on high and see who has created these  stars, the One who leads forth their host by number, He calls them all by name;  Because of the greatness of His might and the strength of His power, not one of them is missing" (Isaiah 40:26).

Seventy Days of Blessing - Day Fifty

Dear Friends,

It does not come naturally.

Love is a decision. Forgiveness is an intentional act of the will even when we don't feel it. There is nothing automatic regarding our growth in the Lord. A.W. Tozer wrote: "The ethics of Jesus cannot be obeyed or even understood until the life of God has come to the heart of man or woman in the miracle of new birth."

But once our hearts are filled with Him we can walk out the righteousness of God within us.  But just like we have to cleanse ourselves physically each morning and then put on fresh clothes – we must put on mercy, kindness, humility, love, forgiveness and patience. On this fiftieth day of blessing – let's put on Christ Jesus.
"Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering;"Colossians 3:12 NKJV

Seventy Days of Blessing - Day Forty-Nine

Dear Saints

Our journey continues through the Seventy Days of Blessings. And it is a journey.  Oftentimes we place our emphasis on a moment or an event.  This is the day I gave my life to Jesus.  This is the moment I was baptized by Holy Spirit.  And even though "that moment" took place, it was all a part of a "journey."  Holy Spirit brought us to that moment of confession "Jesus is my Lord" and Holy Spirit is baptizing us anew every day.  Paul declares to Timothy that it is like a worker who is diligently presenting himself or herself everyday to God.  Let's show up for work today and ask the Lord to fill us anew with health, wealth, miracles, wisdom, understanding, grace, anointing and truth.

Seventy Days of Blessing - Day Forty-Eight

Dear Priests

Day Forty-Eight – take your position in the court of heaven. It has been made ready for us through Jesus. The ecclesia (church) is to occupy a place in the court systems of heaven in order to render judgments from heaven on earth!
I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it.    I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven" (Matthew 16:18-19).

Seventy Days of Blessing - Day Forty-Six

Dear Saints

I want to thank Sam Brassfield for his Facebook post this morning: "If you want God's Holy Presence in your midst, you must 'Host the Most Holy Spirit'! He is not just a dove, but the very Spirit of God, and is God the Spirit! We often forget that He is the Promised One! Pentecost must follow the Cross, or all is lost! I will send another just like Me, said Jesus! The Comforter has come! Welcome Holy Spirit!"

Amen. Last night at our Lifting Up Eagles class we not only discussed the ministry of Holy Spirit but we invited Him in.  One of the class members was newly baptized by His power. We literally witnessed Holy Spirit flooding her with joy and power.  Her life will never be the same. The Lord prophesied over her (through me) that she will be a voice to many who have lost hope.

On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified. (John 7:37-39)
